Tall case brass dial clock, ca. 1795-1800.

Tall-case clock. The hood has a cove molded arch pediment with pierced fretwork, three brass urn-and-spire finials on fluted plinths, sidelights with astragal tops, free-standing turned columns at the front corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. Waist with cove moldings at the top, fluted quarter columns at the front corners and a case door with a shaped top. Base with cove molding at the top, ogee molding at the bottom and supported on bracket feet. Engraved dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, engraved scrolls and leaves in the spandrels and lunette, and the inscription "Daniel Burnap Andover" in the lunette surrounded by an engraved cartouche. Inside the chapter ring there is a seconds dial, a calendar aperture, and engraved foliate ornament. Eight day movement.
